How to join the NWR

Joining NWR gives you the opportunity to escape from life's pressures, enjoy stimulating discussion in a relaxed and informal way and make new friends.

Where is my nearest NWR group?

Use the Groups section on this website to quickly see locations of NWR groups near you. Alternatively, You can use the form on the page for the group you are interested in to contact them by email.

Alternatively, contact the NWR office in Norwich by email letting us know your postcode, or phone the office on 0845 450 0287 or 01603 406767 during office hours. Samantha or Angela will write to you with the contact details of your three nearest groups.

When are the NWR meetings?

Each group organises its own meetings and holds its meetings on days of its own choosing. Some have daytime meetings, and some have evening meetings, so this may make some groups more suitable for you than others. Each group publishes its own programme of events and activities, and you can also see these on the web page about the group you are interested in joining.

How much does NWR membership cost?

You can go along to your first meeting for free and see if the NWR is right for you. Contact the group organiser in advance to find out where the next meeting is going to be held. If you decide to become a member, (and of course we hope you do), there is an annual NWR subscription fee of just £17. There are no additional joining fees.

How do I make my application?

The organiser of the group you visit will give you a membership application form and answer any questions you have. They will also collect the subscription fees, tell you who to make cheques payable to, and so on.

The FAQ on this site answers many of the questions we are asked. The group organisers are also more than happy to answer any questions you might have, and so too is the NWR Office in Norwich. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
