Overseas Groups

There are overseas groups within the NWR who hold arranged meetings both individual and group for overseas members travelling to their countries. We can help to organise such meetings for UK members with overseas members and overseas groups, and we can also help to set up a new overseas group if your country is not represented.

Recent exciting and enjoyable interactions have included:

Australia

• Caroline from Yealm visited Sutherland group, Sydney and will repeat in 2006
• Zimbabwe National Organiser Carole visited two groups in Queensland. Met NO of SA in transit
• Read about the recent conference in Australia.

South Africa

• Mary met South Africa committee and enjoyed a shared meeting in June 2004 with NO Margaret Deputy NO Angie and Treasurer Beryl (13+ years in post!)
• Jean from Bridge of Don, Aberdeen met past Cape co-ordinator Cathy
• Mary met Elfi, Cape co-ordinator in London
• UK member enjoyed a trip to Kirstenbosch and tea with Cape members in December

Europe

• Ruth of Staffs Moorlands took Xmas greeting to Netherlands/Brielle group members
• Three Brielle members spent a busy weekend in UK with Staffordshire Moorlands group members

New Zealand

• Individual Member Corralie in New Zealand met with Daphne from Staffs. Any member can visit Corralie as she runs a B&B www.zanyhaven.com
