I discovered ‘it’ a while ago now. This discovery has brought me considerable joy, new friends, a sense of belonging as well as something to look forward to twice a month…

NWR - Where Women Flourish
Do you feel as if you need just a bit more? Something especially for you; to expand yourself, to stretch your spirit, your inner being?

NWR, Why do we join?
For friendship, support, socialising and shared life experiences; for meeting new people perhaps after retirement in your own locality; for finding people with similar interests who get on well together; for doing research and being an active rather than a passive listener to speakers; Then there is the networking aspect – finding a group of women to join if moving to a new area; relishing the tolerant exchange of ideas and respect for one another’s views; finally for rekindling one's confidence; There is the flexibility of the organisation - a group can evolve and has frequently done so to meet our needs; There are no financial demands – no fundraising obligations or raffles.
