Lucinda Hawksley - http://www.lucindahawksley.com Is a great, great, great granddaughter of Charles and Catherine Dickens; she has grown up with an interest in her family history and is a Patron of the Charles Dickens Museum in London. Lucinda will be speaking about Charles Dickens's Social Conscience. Lesley Smith: http://www.lesleyhistorysmith.co.uk - an Elizabethan historian with love and enthusiasm for her subject, an inspiration to those who hear her speak about it. Her mission is to bring history to the masses. As Nell Gwynne, the mistress of Charles II, she will be speaking to us about life and conditions of the time. Guy Pringle started the magazine newBooks ten years ago. Originally a secondary school English teacher he has been involved in publishing for many years and is well known for talking at length to magazine subscribers.
