Marlow NWR invite you to meet our Patron

Date: Thu 23 May 2019.

Group: MARLOW

NWR patron Marion Molteno grew up in South Africa and left after being involved in student protests against the apartheid regime. She spent eight years in Zambia, at an exciting time in its early independence years, later settling in the UK. All of this provided the inspiration for her novel If You Can Walk, You Can Dance. Her most recent novel, Uncertain Light, set among international humanitarian workers, draws on her work as senior policy advisor for Save the Children, travelling extensively to support programmes with disadvantaged children. Marion’s talk will provide an insight into her experiences and how they have inspired and informed her writing.

The evening will also provide an opportunity to meet members from other local NWR groups, and enjoy a glass of wine.
